SessionEDGE and TrendEDGE on NinjaTrader 8

These are calculation tools. They plot numbers and lines. They can be right or wrong. They are not a call to trade and they are not a guarantee of income.

You receive a compiled zip, not source code. One license = one NinjaTrader Machine ID = one PC.

Before you start

  • NinjaTrader 8 desktop (not web, not mobile).
  • A data connection (your usual feed).
  • The zip from Your licenses after payment.
  • Do not unzip the file.
  • Do not copy .cs files into the Indicators folder.
  • Do not email us a trade screenshot asking what to buy or sell.

Import

Do this.

  1. Close extra NinjaTrader windows. Leave Control Center.
  2. Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On (not “NinjaScript” alone).
  3. Select the zip from Your licenses. Leave it as .zip.
  4. Wait for: “NinjaTrader successfully imported all scripts”.
  5. Restart NinjaTrader if it asks.
  6. Chart → Indicators → search SessionEDGE or TrendEDGE.
  • SessionEDGE zip = SessionEDGE only.
  • TrendEDGE zip = TrendEDGE only.
  • Bundle = two zips. Import each one. Do not merge, re-zip, or extract.

If import failed

NinjaTrader shows “duplicate method names” when a zip hits scripts that are already on that PC.

  • Do not unzip the file. Import the original .zip only.
  • Close NinjaTrader completely.
  • Open Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicators\
  • Delete only these if they exist: SessionEDGE.cs, Tradoer.cs, TrendEDGE.cs
  • Do not delete other vendors’ files.
  • Open NinjaTrader → Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly
  • Remove SessionEDGE or Tradoer if listed. Leave TrendEDGE if it already works.
  • Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On → pick the original zip again.
  • Restart if NinjaTrader asks.

Bundle: two zips. Import each once. One zip = one import.

Add to a chart

  1. Open a futures chart (NQ or ES first).
  2. Right-click → Indicators.
  3. SessionEDGE by Tradoer and/or TrendEDGE by Tradoer.
  4. SessionEDGE: set session name and times (NY 09:30–10:00 Eastern is the default). Add a second instance for Asia or London.
  5. TrendEDGE: enable only the timeframes you need.
  6. OK.

License / Machine ID

After payment we bind the license to one PC. Machine ID is not License ID. Copy it from Control Center → Help → About. Paste it in Your licenses or email thetradoer@gmail.com with order email, which product (SessionEDGE, TrendEDGE, or both), and Machine ID.

SessionEDGE = product 2182. TrendEDGE = product 2183. Bundle = both on the same Machine ID.

On the chart but nothing prints

  • Session times must match the session you want (Eastern for NQ).
  • Need enough historical bars to cover Days to draw.
  • Data must be connected.
  • SessionEDGE on 5-minute or 15-minute first.
  • Remove the indicator and add it again after you change “Calculate zone from”.
  • A calculation can print late, wrong, or not at all. That is not a defect for refund. See Terms.

In the indicator list but will not load

License prompt. The zip imported. The NinjaTrader user license is not on that Machine ID yet.

Email thetradoer@gmail.com with order email + Machine ID. We do not refund because the license was not issued yet; we issue it.

Bought both / bundle $369

  • You get two zips.
  • Import SessionEDGE, then TrendEDGE (either order).
  • One Machine ID for both licenses.
  • There is no combined “bundle installer”.

Still stuck

This form is for install and license only. We cannot help with live trades, entries, or whether a print is “right.”

Email thetradoer@gmail.com. Include:

  • order email
  • which zip filename you imported
  • Machine ID
  • the exact error text or a screenshot of the error popup
  • whether you unzipped the file

We resend a missing zip. We do not refund after delivery. See /terms.
